Former German figure skating queen Katarina Witt rolled back the years Sunday when she renewed her rivalry with Canada's Elizabeth Manley, 22 years after their Olympic Games clash at Calgary. Witt, who had already captured gold at Sarajevo in 1984, retained her title four years later during the famous Battle of the Carmens, so-called because the German skater and great American rival Debbie Thomas performed to the same music from the opera Carmen.
